Honest reviews of the earbuds and headphones I actually test
Topivo is an independent tech review site run by a single editor from Halle, Germany. I focus on wireless earbuds, headphones, and consumer audio, and I publish reviews, comparisons, and buying guides based on hands-on research — not rewritten spec sheets.
Hi, I’m Nguyen Anh Tuan — founder and sole editor of Topivo
I’m based in Halle (Saale), Germany, and I run Topivo as an independent, one-person editorial project. Every review, comparison, and buying guide on this site is written by me. There are no guest contributors, no outsourced writing, and no AI-generated product descriptions posing as reviews.
My interest in consumer audio started years before I launched Topivo. I spent a lot of time reading forum threads, watching headphone reviews, and comparing earbuds across price classes before making personal purchases — and I kept noticing the same problem: most “best of” lists read like thin rewrites of a manufacturer page, with every product described as “amazing” regardless of real weaknesses. Topivo is my attempt to do the opposite.
I write in English because my target audience is international buyers researching earbuds and headphones on Amazon. I personally test the products I recommend where possible, and when I rely on publicly documented specifications or third-party measurements, I say so.
Useful reviews, not sales copy in disguise
I started Topivo because too many product review pages feel designed for search engines and affiliate clicks first, and for readers second. Weaknesses get softened, buying guides become vague, and product rankings often read as commercial content dressed up as editorial advice.
My goal is more direct: explain what a product does well, where it falls short, and which alternatives make more sense at a similar price. That includes practical tradeoffs, not only headline specs or marketing language.
I focus primarily on wireless earbuds, headphones, and consumer audio, with selected coverage of related everyday tech where I can provide meaningful depth rather than a surface summary. If I do not understand a category well enough to add real value, I do not cover it.
My review process
Every product covered on Topivo goes through the same editorial process before I publish a verdict or include it in a buying guide.
Research
I start with product positioning, full specifications, manufacturer claims, firmware history, and where the model sits in the current market against direct rivals.
Hands-on testing
Whenever possible, I test earbuds and headphones personally in daily use — music across multiple genres, calls, commuting, workouts, and app behavior on both Android and iOS.
Compare
I compare each product with realistic alternatives in the same budget — not only flagship models — so recommendations reflect real buying decisions rather than marketing tiers.
Verdict
I write a clear verdict covering strengths, real limitations, and who the product is (and is not) a good fit for. If a cheaper alternative is better, I say so.
Revisit
I update reviews and rankings when prices shift, firmware changes the experience, or a newer competitor changes the answer. Outdated advice is not useful advice.
Focus areas
Rather than trying to cover every gadget category on the internet, I stay in lanes where I can be genuinely useful to the reader.
Wireless earbuds
True wireless, sport, ANC, premium, and budget picks — with practical comparisons and straightforward buying advice for Amazon shoppers.
Over-ear headphones
Coverage ranges from affordable daily-use models to premium noise-cancelling options from Sony, Bose, Sennheiser, and similar brands.

Dedicated reviews and comparisons of ANC performance across price classes, tested in commuting and home-office environments.
Buying guides
Category-level guides that explain what matters before readers spend time comparing individual product pages on Amazon.
Head-to-head comparisons
Direct matchups between popular options so readers can quickly see where each model wins and where it compromises.
Best-of roundups
Curated recommendations by budget, use case, and listener type, updated when the market shifts enough to change the answer.
How Topivo makes money — and how it does not
Topivo participates in affiliate programs. The most important one is the Amazon Associates Program. I want to be fully transparent about how this works so readers can judge my advice accordingly.
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. This means when a reader clicks an Amazon link on Topivo and makes a purchase, Amazon may pay Topivo a small commission. The price you pay does not change. I am not paid by any manufacturer to review or recommend a product. No brand pays for placement, favorable ranking, or a positive verdict on this website.
