Delete your Matubi account and data

Matubi is Topivo’s mathematics learning app for children in grades 1–4. Users, parents and legal guardians can request deletion of a Matubi account and its associated personal data by email.

Account deletion is free. You do not need to purchase Premium or Lifetime. You can submit your request without signing in to Matubi or reinstalling the app.

Request deletion by emailing [email protected]

How to request deletion

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject Matubi account deletion. Alternatively, contact [email protected].
  2. Include your registered email address and/or Matubi ID, if known. If you use Google Sign-In, provide the email address of the Google account used to sign in. Whenever possible, send the request from your registered email address.
  3. Clearly state that you want your Matubi account and its associated personal data deleted. If you are a parent or legal guardian requesting deletion for a child, mention this and identify the relevant account.
  4. We will verify the account and your authority to request deletion. If necessary, we will ask for reasonable additional confirmation. We will then process the verified request and inform you of its completion or any specifically justified exceptions.

Do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary copies of identity documents. If you cannot access your registered email address or do not know your Matubi ID, explain this in your message so we can help identify the account securely.

Example request

“Please delete my Matubi account and all associated personal data. Registered email address: [your email address]. Matubi ID, if known: [your Matubi ID]. I am the account holder or the parent/legal guardian responsible for this account. Please confirm when my request has been processed.”

What data will be deleted?

Following a verified request, deletion covers the relevant Matubi account and its associated personal data, where present:

  • Login and account information, including the registered email address, Matubi ID and Matubi’s connection to Google Sign-In.
  • Profile name, selected avatar, grade and account settings.
  • Learning progress, exercise history, answers, results and learning statistics.
  • Error-training tasks and repetition progress.
  • XP, Coins, Stars, Level, Streak, daily goals, achievements and account rewards.
  • Personal information associated with monthly challenges and the Top 10 leaderboard.
  • Account-linked Premium entitlement, purchase status and other personal operational data.

Separately stored challenge and reward records are also considered when processing the request. Where service providers process associated account data on our behalf, we arrange deletion within the scope of the request. Deleting your Matubi account does not delete your Google account.

Local and offline data

Uninstalling, signing out or resetting the app does not replace a request to delete server-side account data.

Locally stored learning progress and offline data may remain on your devices. You can remove these separately through Android’s app storage settings or by uninstalling the app. Please stop using the account after requesting deletion to avoid creating new data for synchronization.

Processing and possible retention

We process verified requests without unnecessary delay. We do not promise automatic deletion within a fixed number of days. If account verification requires additional information, we will explain the next steps.

Exceptions are considered only where particular data is genuinely required by law or for a specifically justified security or legal purpose. If an exception applies, we will explain which data is affected, why it is retained and the applicable period or retention criteria. This does not justify retaining your entire learning profile.

Purchase information processed independently by Google Play is subject to Google’s own deletion and retention rules.

Cancel Google Play subscriptions separately

Deleting your Matubi account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

If you have an active Matubi subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store using the Google account that purchased the subscription.
  2. Tap your profile icon.
  3. Select Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Matubi → Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the instructions to complete cancellation.

You can submit your account deletion request independently of these steps. If you need help identifying a purchase, contact us using the details below. A Lifetime purchase is not a recurring subscription.
